I don’t understand why we can’t lean on glass, metals, papers, woods and fabrics more like we used to. It seems to me that certain things have no legitimate reason to be made out of plastic other than it’s lighter. I think one thing apple did right this past decade was making devices out of glass and metal instead of mostly plastic and set the trend to do so.
Recycling needs incentives, if you pay the user some amount of money they will get the empty bottles to the recycling facility i think. And for the reusable bottles manufacturers need to go back to basics and ship the water in glass bottles, glass is as i know 100% recyclable with no harm, except for the emissions from the factories that do the recycling 😅
If plastic had the same value as gold;you wouldn't even find so much as a molecule of the stuff anywhere in the environment.
