To suggest that straight word/theme substitution is viable here, AND NOT EVERYWHERE, is a violation of simple logic. Your conclusion may be sound but it is not as obvious as you make it out to be. Very disappointing how you are tickling the ears of a specific audience.
What a twisting of the scriptures to elevate law/torah over Christ. Who is the way, truth and light, if you hate the truth, you will not follow Christ, who is the truth, and light of the wirld. Believers must go to and follow his steps closely, not the torah, sin is transgression of the 10 commandments , the new testament greek translates torah, to teaching/didaski, it does not translate as law, if you consult Greeks. If you keep the 10 commandments, you fulfil the law, disobedience to old laws met with punishments, if you are still under torah law, does that mean you will personally still stone sinners? You disobey torah, by your idolatry to torah/ placing it on a pedestal higher than Christ, you commit idolatry to Torah. I hate idolatry..you are blind to your sin Adam
