  1. Paul tells us there is only one God, the father, and one mediator between God and man, the man Yahusha. I love the Messiah, the son of God, who reconciled me to the one God!, the father Yahusha. To place Yahusha as God, iqual to his Father is Catholic heresy and idolatry. Yahusha always said that his Father is greater than he.

  2. “And this day shall be unto you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to Yahuah throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by ordinance forever.” Exodus 12:14
A High Shabbat of remembrance. A solemn reminder announced with a blast of shofars. “A reminder of what?” you might ask. It's a reminder of the blowing of a shofar that occurred four months earlier at Mount Sinai!
“On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud trumpet (shofar) blast, so that all the people in the camp trembled. Then Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they took their stand at the foot of the mountain.
Now Mount Sinai was wrapped in smoke because ADONAI had descended on it in fire. The smoke of it went up like the smoke of a kiln, and the whole mountain trembled greatly. And as the sound of the trumpet (shofar) grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him in thunder.” Exodus 19: 16-19
Yom Teruah is Yah instructing us to remember how, when, where and why He approached us with His life-giving precepts! Remember?
Remember the reason behind bringing Israel out from under the burden of Egypt, the reason for Israel's deliverance…
Passover's deliverance and salvation from slavery and death and the resulting exodus from Egypt occurred with one single goal in mind: an encounter 50 days later with the Living God-Shavuot!
Shavuot prophetically speaks of the marriage between man and God. Israel never consummated
the marriage vows at Sinai. Jesus is man's final hope for that consummation: the consummation of “I will take(marry) you(the bride) to be my people(my wife); and I(the Bridegroom) will be your God(our Husband).
He wants us to remember His Shofar blast of Exodus 6:7!!!
I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am ADONAI your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
He wants us to remember that this is the gospel unto salvation; His “Master Plan;” that He loves us, desires us and is our Bridegroom!
This is what we are supposed to be remembering on Yom Teruah, this holy Rosh Chodesh, this solemn day of remembrance marked with blasts of shofars, this High Shabbat. Not a civil “New Year's celebration”…
Blessed are the people who know the festal shout(teruah), who walk, O Lord, in the light of your face… Psalm 89:15
Yom Teruah is better known by its popular and erroneous Babylonian inspired name, “Rosh Hashanah” and it's meaning of “head of the year/new year.” In reality, Yom Teruah is a Rosh Chodesh, a High Shabbat of solemn rest, a holy convocation of remembrance when no ordinary work is done. A reminder announced with shouts and blasts of the shofar and a food offering presented to ADONAI. On this Day of Remembrance, we are to remember the Shofar Blast of Mount Sinai and the Covenant of Torah that took place at Shavuot.
Yom Teruah is not a Rosh Hashanah “New Year's-head of the year” celebration that takes place two weeks before the Feast of Tabernacles(Sukkot)-described in Exodus 23:16 as the “End of the Year”.
