My husband and I met Will one day at Whole Foods in Marietta, GA. He was so nice and genuine! Gave us a T-shirt for his ranch and invited us to bring our blue heeler pup to come tour his place. Lmfao. Harris ranch is a concentrated animal feeding operation. In other words, bottom of the barrel garbage beef. You can smell that place 5 miles before you can see it on I-5. Meanwhile you can be on my holistic/regenerative ranch that has more cows per acre than his and you can’t smell cow poop unless you’re standing directly over some that was dropped that day. Ranches like Harris Ranch are absolute hellholes and people like him love trying to talk down on regenerative ag because we make more profit per acre, raise more animals per acre, raise higher quality beef and I personally charge less than they do. Guys like these know they’re selling VCR tapes and are on their way out but they’re attempting to keep fighting change… That’s why they’ve been selling most of their cattle operation like they did in 2019… And one of the reasons he knows so much about “green washing” is because his company does exactly that. When you hear they’re grass fed you think pasture, yet their animals are kept in a mud pit and fed garbage hay so they can get the grass fed label while they stand in shit stacked feet high and are kept alive by on staff vets and wouldn’t survive if they weren’t be shot up with every bovine medicine known to man… There is nothing regenerative about Harris Ranch…
I worked in Meat & Seafood at WF before and after the takeover and it was BRUTAL to watch, let alone be a part of. I left.
