Atheism is like going to the highest court in the land for the worst crime ever and rejecting your attorney, who is willing to represent you for free. It's lunacy to me.
Like Generic Stiles said : "I have nothing to loose by being a Christian, Instead I gave everything to gain, even if my beliefs were to be wrong, I still have nothing to loose, but what about you the atheist, can you afford to wrong?"

About Richards comment why people are born at certain places and times: I can only say that the older I get the more I lean toward predestiny. That God being all knowing, all powerful and knowing the begining from the end knew all who would be sheep and all would be goats. And He predestined people to be born at certain times in certain places for His Glory and for reasons we may not fully understand. Because His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. But if we just ruminate for bit on this truth, that there is an order to the begining to each of our existance and it is not haphazard and random, what is to learned from that? Who would appreciate Heaven more? The angels, or humans who suffered through life? I don't know. Is it that we are appointed to suffer and how we suffer means something to God?
