Joe, Bjorn – Books are helpful, but this really should be a Netflix special/doc, and a live presentation/discussion tour in key cities, to finally repair some of the damage of the Gore tour and money thrown at fear mongering. "A Pragmatic's Guide to Climate and World Challenges" or "A Statistician's Guide…". Old school media execs will say the topic is no good for ratings, etc, but meanwhile they put up 1000 channels of crap. You just held audience for 2 hours, with no video, no guests, panel inserts, etc. I'm tired of our governments everyone, with their spouses/allies in the media, doing everyting on an emotional alarmists basis to get ratings, clicks, or votes. There is a large number of adults in the US that would like to see competence, nuance, pragmaticism, honesty. I don't take anything said by Bjorn on face value, but he's shown some paths to explore, and I completely agree with the larger lessons of making competent judgements on what should be the priority, how to get the most bang for the buck, and how much it costs the world citizens when all the focus is out of proportion to the benefit.

Regardless of what you believe… No one can but probably will deny that we are in the midst of a mass extinction.
