this is my take on the police thing. i don't know if defunding them is the right answer, but sweeping, universal changes needed to be made, clearly. i always thought of police as peace-keepers. if we took every cop and simply made them and called them peace officers, and told them any escalation of any situation is an instant "you're fired." obviously they can protect themselves if they are defending themselves, but never be the one who escalates. if they want to be able to escalate the situation, they are essentially practicing and enforcing the law, something we expect people to study 8+ years for and pass a hardcore test. how can these cops have more power than lawyers basically, when their training time is literally less than a barbers. their whole job is the law, but they ignorantly, whether willfully or not, bastardize and exploit it to get their way and to get off more on their power trips.
Tbh it seems like the majority of people are hating on the ps5 solely because they're irritated that other people like how it looks. It happens every time people get hyped over anything, people start hating just because.
