I had meniscus surgery 6 months ago in 1 knee. They wound up removing over 2/3s of the meniscus, because not only was it torn but it flipped or rolled over thus causing low blood flow, so it wasn't salvageable. Eww, I know. Running, lifting and carrying is a thing of the past for me now. I feel like I need a shim inserted in my inner knee… but life goes on… thanks for sharing this, I found it helpful.
