If you buy crypto from an exchange and do not take that money out of the exchange and put it into a hardware or paper wallet then YOU DO NOT OWN THAT MONEY. In the world of crypto the only person who owns the money is the one holding the keys and if you are dumb enough to leave your money in an exchange then YOU DO NOT HOLD THE KEYS, the exchange does. Crypto's biggest problem is also the biggest problem plaguing the Internet and technology in general; normie brainlets end up jumping on bandwagons for tech that they do not understand how to use or the risks of its usage in the slightest and end up spoiling it for everyone else by virtue of their ignorance and stupidity.
