I didn't know that Ozark meant that.
It made me think of the latest verse on our doorframe. It's one of my favorites.
SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 34:16
For the eyes of Yahuah are upon them that love him, he is their mighty protection and strong stay, a defence from heat, and a cover from the sun at noon, a preservation from stumbling, and a help from falling.
What verse is on your door frame?
I love Yahuah so much. Relying on Yah is a truly great comfort. It's so nice how we don't have to worry when we truly rely on him. It's like having a perfect childhood as an adult. Lol
Just last night, for example, our van caught fire on the way home, it's a wheelchair ramp van and there's no service that would or could take me home and we were too far away to make it in on my chair's batteries. We asked Yahuah to please put out the fire out since it was down in the engine, and we had no way to get to it. I know that normally this is a bad idea but not when you feel it's an answer to a prayer, and my bride dumped our drinks on top of the engin, and the fire began to dim and went out.
And next we were asking what should we do to get me home and I said, "I think we're supposed to drive" and my bride, making me so proud at almost every moment said with such confidence, if that's what Yah wants us to do then we'll do it, and we piled into the van and it didn't start and we prayed again and said we've done what we think that you've asked and the ball is in your court and we know that you'll not let us down because who has ever been disappointed that trusted in Yahuah, but nothing and then my wife apologized to Yahuah for something and vroom, it started up. And we came home without issue and praising and thanking Yahuah the Most High.
A few years ago, Yahuah healed my bride of the alpha gal, which had become so severe that she'd had a life-threatening reaction to the special shot that is the last resort for life-threatening allergies.
After that I ended up in a power wheelchair and in 2021 after a wreck while being transported in my wheelchair I ended up trapped in my body, not able roll myself over or eat or drink without assistance.
Since that point my bride had to quit a good paying job to take care of me, and we've gotten so much closer to Yahuah and really come to rely on him and because of that we've gotten to see some real miracles.
Medicine from an empty container, people showing up with food or something that we need, and Yahuah took away the neuromuscular disease that had taken my ability to walk. I am still living with T2 to T5 spinal cord damage, but we know he's going to have me walk again. He's already given me sensation in the affected areas, and I can move them again.
