Tyson has spent his entire life looking at artists renditions and believing those drawings to be true photographic pictures. If you can't differentiate the difference between a painting and a photograph, why should you be a teacher?

Neil's speech at 12:50 is perfect. He mentions a ton of second positions dependent on philosophy. You might understand data, experiment, etc but do you understand that certain conclusions you draw from said data and experiment are philosophically absurd? The shift the educated man has gone through from being rounded in the arts to being hyper-specialized in the "hard sciences" has been a detriment to the pursuit of truth.
Neil says it's unfair to speak of S C I E N C E to the general public who believe in God but aren't scientist since they won't understand the data, the S C I E N C E, etc. But these science types are in the same boat as the scientific "illiterate" general public he speaks of but for philosophy.
To hear the deception pouring out of these deceived prisoners of satan makes me so sad.
