Fucking dope.
This made me realize Muhammad Ali was the Ayrton Senna of boxing. Loved and revered by people who have never watched the sport in their life.
George foreman caused that damage
George Foreman and Lenox Lewis
My father grew up in Indonesia in the 70s. During that time Indonesians do not have televisions in their home so people would watch important events in shop lots, magistrate offices, and in front of electronic stores. When Ali fought against Frazier in 71', against Foreman in Rumble in The Jungle in 74' and Thrilla in Manila in 75' my father said that schools are closed early as well as government offices. People would stop and watch in places with TVs, cartwheel food vendors would crowd these places and it would be like a little picnic. It was insanity. I never knew any other athlete to bring in that kind of crowd in my country.
