Carl Sagan suggests that a God who would create a universe that misleads scientists into false conclusion is malevolent. That's pretty funny, to say that if scientists reach wrong conclusions about what is created, that God can blamed. I am amazed that so many people have such great confidence that we know what is out there beyond our reach, simply by looking at it, with nothing nearby to compare it to. And this while also acknowledging that there is this mysterious thing called dark matter, and we don't know what it is. How then can we say that we really know anything at all about what is in the heavens? It's all speculation, and we are afraid to admit it.

Question: if the earth is flat what causes the tides to come in and go out? In my country Ireland it takes six hours for a full tide to come in, six hours to retract, six hours to come in again and six hours to retract. That’s four cycles in 24 hrs. If you look at the globe spinning it looks like that is why the tides come in and go out.

I could have swore at one time they had comments I wouldn't think Rob would have done that guess I could be wrong?
