I don’t like how he said no one just randomly becomes homeless and that they’re all drug addicts. That could not possibly be further from the truth. So many people are just one step away from being homeless just due to money issues or having no family or good friends they can count on. It was almost me. Luckily I have a couple family members nearby still that I can stay with.
Hmm wonder why drug addicts flock to the West Coast to be homeless? Couldn't be nice weather year round where u can sleep outside Or cheap drugs, or tons of rich people giving out money.
These videos and this exposure has made me a better parent. I have an 8yo daughter and I have started educating her to be preventative, slowly telling her that everyone doesn’t live the life she does, having hard (appropriate) conversations, teaching awareness, so she can protect herself and be aware of the things that can happen and how to protect herself.
There is only SO many life buoys that you can throw someone if they're drowning in their own self made pool,but if they don't grab on well as Chris Cornell said,"GO SAVE YOURSELF AND TAKE IT OUT ON ME" God I miss Chris so much and Tony it's hard…as an alcoholic,still active in my drinking,I don't feel the need to project my mess on my Parents or childhood in any way.I had it rough growing up,but god damn it I'm Irish and I don't get drunk but hate being sober if that makes sense.Other alcoholics would know,it's the warm blanket affect,as Pink Floyd said comfortably numb
