It's interesting that the Bible doesn't actually explain how "The Man" came to be called "Adam"….. Eve is the first human to be specifically named… God refers to the male human as "The Man"..

Contineuing with
"if God Created Good why is there pain and suffering, anger and hatred?"
You litterally started with the answer of your own question.
The Fall causes the Good to become Evil…
As an example…
Adam when he fell and was banished with Eve to the World.
(Many somehow dont know this…)
But the Adam on Eden, became Methuselah on the World..
Like I said, when someone or something Falls, the Good becomes the Evil.
Proof?
God put in a whole bunch of effort, to name the names and especially the Ages of the Bloodline of Adam.
The First Created wil die the oldest.
If the oldest died at 969 years of age, that oldest has to be Adam.
And Noah was favoured by God right?
But who did Noah a favour?
God?
Or Methuselah?
God wanted total destruction.
Methuselah/Adam wanted revenge.
He rebeled by helping Noah survive the Flood and steal a pair of every Animal of God to the New World.

Methuselah is a Rebel and Enemy of God.
Noah is a Thief and a Traitor of God.
