Where in the Bible does it say that the world was created as "good"? Don't give me any nonsense about "God saw that it was good", because you know as well as I do that the word "good", in this sense, means "functional" and not "without flaws". Adam and his woman, who would LATER become Eve, were not "perfect", either. I want anybody to show me where God says that they were. Don't point me at books written by unidentifiable authors centuries after the fact, who slapped these attributes onto the creation: if God did not say it Himself, it's simply not true – and any falsehood that is relayed as truth is a LIE!
The Garden of Eden story tells the sordid tale of a plan that backfired spectacularly, causing God to take remedial measures, which also came apart, resulting in the pair being thrown out of the garden. The result of the backfire was a proclivity that became so widespread and commonplace that the killjoy named Moses tried to outlaw in Leviticus 18:23 and 20:15 & 16.
