So according to the flat earth map the sun and moon move clockwise or east to west. That part I know is true because I pay attention to my surroundings. However, the solar eclipse for August 21, 2017 starts in Oregon and ends in South Carolina, or west to east. How is that possible on flat earth?
It makes me angry to watch this. Honestly!
Please go to a seaport and watch closely as ships approach from the horizon: Firstly you'll see the tip of the mast and then – bit by bit – the rest of the ship. The ancient Greeks already noticed this and figured out – thousands of years ago – that the earth is a globe.
With this knowledge the Greek scientist Eratosthenes was able to calculate earth's diameter 2.250 years ago (!)
And Johnny Cirucci puts himself in front of a microphone and claims that the the Earth is flat?
That's not even stupid, it's vicious, because Cirucci misuses the ignorance of people. How on earth is a deceit like this supposed to serve Christianity? It doesn't, Johnny Cirucci is mocking Christianity with his mind games. Probably that is is real agenda.

The Bible is a book about God and people, God's relationship with people. It's not a science book. It was written during a certain time period by people inspired by the Holy Spirit, but within their framework of understanding of the world. Therefore, Scripture only ever talks about women being barren and not about men being unable to procreate, it talks about the gut being the centre of emotion and so on.
I've been required to fly via planes worldwide many times in my job. Every time when crossing the Atlantic (the Pond) the planes go north to arrive at the destinations, going east or going west, either way. Dubai to New York, the plane consistently crossed the British Isles and Greenland. I couldn't figure out why we always went north to arrive where we were going. Now it looks like it IS the shortest route. It seems to fit this theory. Anyone else that flys alot noticed this?
Rob Skiba; Like you, I am curious about this subject but I'm not ready to drink the Kool-Aid yet. My hang up is on the point of how does it ever get dark in the mid-latitudes if the Earth is flat and the Sun is revolving around between the Tropics.
Johnny Cirucci; No one objects to the history, traditions, and doctrines of the Roman church more than I. However, only a bigot tries to discredit individual Catholics as you did Georges Lemaitre. A little perspective might help. In the past 2,000 years, the top three examples of people who have achieved Maslow's highest level of "Self-transcendence" have been two men and a woman. Two–Mother Teresa and Francis of Assisi–were Catholics; the third was a Jew.
