It really depends on your intention, if I were drinking to get intoxicated than yes I should not partake in wine, but if I’m simply drinking a glass of wine while reading Gods word to wind down for the day there is nothing wrong with it, so just examine yourself before drinking and make sure your intention is good.

You are wrong. Matthew 11:18 Jesus admitted to drinking wine. If it was merely juice it would not be worth mentioning. There is no commandment not to drink alcohol
I do not classify myself as a drinker, however, I do very occasionally like to sip on some wine or a wine cooler on the very hot and humid days or have it with some cheese. Also wine and pasta is a good "marriage". And I am not averse to having some champagne during a special celebration! I do not think it should be used to self-medicate…..
