This is a short segment from an interview done with me by John and Mark regarding how the horizon always seems to look flat when it goes across the center of the camera’s lens (even at altitudes as high as 161.6 miles).

who cares , wath shape ! , we re stuck on it till we die ! if its flat go on the highest peak and you ll be able to see every country with a telescope. Wath a waste of time and energy !!!! PREACH THE GOSPEL !!
I used to work in the aviation field. I always would wonder why the vast majority of airplanes have round windows. If I remember correctly, I think that Queen Air and the Challenger are the only two that I recall. It has been 30 years since, so I could be inaccurate.
Yeah, it's these horizon tests and the "What can I see in the distance" tests that are an anchor to me to actually keep looking at this flat/ lense earth model.
I still find Neil Adam's expanding globe animations completely convincing though – they fit too well to be ignored.
Maybe I/we need to get some flat earth maps of.various propoertions.and cut the continents out and see how they combine?

Let us not forget that air acts as a lens. To see this effect amplified just look around under water; water having a higher diffraction rate than air. Get under water and look up at objects above the water. For that matter, reverse the process and look at scenes beneath water. So now just what is it about that horizon?
