Pastor… Can you please explain for me the principle of god the mother that is being preached by some churches today deriving it from Genesis 1 vs 26, they ascribe the image of God to a male and female image…. How best can we explain to them

a person in authority can give up that position but he cant give up who he is. so when we say jesus became a man yes he did but he was still the man who is god . he added a body to himself . the o/t says a body thou hast prepared for me . his power was limited to humanity but in his essence he is still god
I'm sorry, but the mental gymnastics here – rejection of the plain and simple "thus saith the Lord…" and "it is written…" combined with predisposed conjecture in HOPES of "proving" something NOT EVER STATED in the Bible – make me CRINGE! Normally I find your arguments sound and reliable, but this (and the booklet) are downright embarrassing.
I pray for u Doug B. To turn away from the SDA church & see that the hate of Hades did not prevail over the church, Jesus Christ promised us his church will never fail .
Therefore if u cant find ur church in the 1st 2nd 3rd century r u in a false church, God did not tell us he would bring a new prophet to led us, but he did tell us there will be many false prophets to take us away from the truth.
Please study more, & Doug I pray for u & ur family. May the lord open ur eyes to the truth by trusting in the holyspirit that u r in a cult, open ur heart & the truth shall be revealed
