Lunar VS Saturday Sabbath Discussion with Diane Covher, Rob Skiba and Zen Garcia FYTube

At the Sacred Word Revealed Conference Joy told Diane Covher that she was praying that we could get someone to ask all their questions about the Lunar Sabbath in one honest conversation. The next day Rob Skiba randomly (not knowing that she mentioned this to Diane) starts this conversation over lunch. Joy pulled out her phone and started recording to share. That said, please excuse the background noise, sound quality, etc. Rob and Diane are great examples of how you can disagree but still discuss as brothers and sisters in The Messiah! We are all learning and growing together – let’s continue to discuss in love.

  1. They marched on Jericho on the Sabbath and were blameless because like David eating the shewbread, or the priests profaning the sabbath and were blameless, as the Israelites before God spoke at the foot of Mt Sinai, and Uriah when David told him to sleep with his wife and he refused in order to keep sabbath holy while in battle. The key of David.

  2. Conjunction!
You keep count every day… because all through our year/s YHWH teaches us to keep count; from Six working days plus the Shabbat, to seven days chag ha matzot, to seven full weeks (six X working days plus Shabbat X 6) = 49 plus the next day = 50 (Shavuot).
    To count the months.
To count the days of Sukkot.
    Six years = 6, + 1 = 7 (shmittah).
    Six years + shmittah X 7 = 49 + 1 year = 50 (yobel).

So we look every day in the sky.
    We count every day.
We take note of the phases.
We see/or know from counting, when the last sliver can be seen with the naked eye (but it's still in real time, illuminated; and it's still in the last chodesh).

We know by continual observation what size the illumination is in %.
Therefore, we know ourselves that there will be 1.5 to 2 days where the last hidden illumination of the last phase of the last month, will enter into conjunction, which will then enter into the first hidden illumination of the first phase of the new month.

    YHWH's moon moves continually.
YHWH does not take the moon and hide it in a box for about a day or so, just because we can't see the last, or first sliver.
One cannot have a "two-day" nothingness concerning YHWH's yereach.

A month does not start with being able to see the first sliver.
How can we say we adhere to the first sliver belief, but agree to not adhere to it if we can't see it… but declare by default? That's crazy. You either go by sighting, or you don't.

    We used to believe that.
But we had to ask ourselves, "why is the moon 24 hours to 36 hours old in real time… YHWH's time… yet we are claiming that it's the first day of the first phase? "
"Why is it, if we say that the first sliver seen by us is the beginning of the month, don't we believe the last sliver that we see is the end of the month?
And why are we putting approximately two days of a moving, functioning moon, in no-mans land…out of sight, out of mind?"

YHWH has already, by the laws He has set in place, finished the last month, and started the new without ceasing.
And that is exactly why Yahunatan and Dawid could state "Tomorrow is chodesh"…not because they saw any sliver which would have contradicted YHWH's perfection of how the moon moves without ceasing. YHWH doesn't put the phases on hold just because we can't see the illumination.

Sighting the moon with the naked eye is from Yahuwdah.
Let everyone not forget how our brother Yahuwdah went into punishment for 70 years.
Let us not forget the takanot and Ma'asim, the joining of Pesach to the first day of chag ha matzot, the commencing of YHWH's day at sunset to sunset, instead of sunrise to sunset.
All these, and many more, Yahuwdah has been confused over, and thus the majority made the ruling, not according to the written word of Mosheh.

Weather permitting, we always see the moon's illumination on the second night.
Then that just shows us as a witness.
Even if we didn't see the illumination for five nights, when we do see it, we know what % it is roughly, or accurately. From constant counting and observing the phases, we can tell where we are up to in the month, and that always confirms that we started the first day on the right day.
As Sh'moth and D'barim command :"Six days you shall work, and on the seventh is a day of ceasing/rest (shabbat) unto YHWH.. "

And as tehillim says concerning sunrise, "and man goes out to his labours until evening."

  3. As a Midwife for many years I have had to teach almost every woman that her cycle is Lunar, not based on our man made calendar. I tell them that God created woman way before our calendar came into being. Definitely Lunar!
