At the Sacred Word Revealed Conference Joy told Diane Covher that she was praying that we could get someone to ask all their questions about the Lunar Sabbath in one honest conversation. The next day Rob Skiba randomly (not knowing that she mentioned this to Diane) starts this conversation over lunch. Joy pulled out her phone and started recording to share. That said, please excuse the background noise, sound quality, etc. Rob and Diane are great examples of how you can disagree but still discuss as brothers and sisters in The Messiah! We are all learning and growing together – let’s continue to discuss in love.

day zero cant be new moon day because the moon wasnt made yet…..
Very confusing . Tried figuring this out to no avail. I feel you Rob. There has to be someone who can explain this to simpletons like me. Hopefully.
I have found Yahuah requires our faith in following Him. so I do follow the moon
According to Genesis 1:14, time is administered/governed by light(s) in heaven. “DAYS and YEARS” are both elements of “TIME”. This means of measuring "time" controlled by "light" is what our Creator gave to man when He created all things.
Wouldn't it then be self-evident that He intended "light" for all mankind to seek His seventh-day Shabbats?
Genesis 1:14-19 is a key text that teaches us that we do not have to move outside the heavenly bodies to determine our calendar or our holy days or times. So the sun tells us when Shabbat begins and ends, but the moon tells us on which specific day we end.
They work together as a husband and wife, a wonderful unity of marriage, to tell the time.
Why should we use YHWH's calendar for His dates other than His most important date, Shabbat?
When it comes to annual or monthly dates like Passover, Pentecost, Tabernacles, or even the new moon, believers have no problem believing Psalm 104:19, but when it comes to the weekly date, they are not so quick to accept that that the moon has something to do with when the weekly Shabbat is, although this particular word moed for festivals refers to the weekly Shabbat and all Levitical Holy Days.
Zen, I love you and appreciate y'all posting this…I tend to fall on Rob's side, but only after trying lunar Sabbath and prayerful consideration and convictions from YHWH…that being said I will always respect, and discuss this topic and any other in love, respectfully, testing Scripture(apocrypha and all…lol) and looking for the day Yahushua Ha'Mashiach comes to line us all up…love you so much Brother Zen, and man, we miss Brother Rob until we all get to sit together again and discuss these things with our Savior and all the Witnesses and Prophets…praise be to YHWH in Yahushua Ha'Mashiach's perfect name…amen!!!
