My husband is an alcoholic. He drinks beer every night, till he's drunk, and passes out. He will tell me, when I say he passed out, he says that he didn't pass out, he's falling asleep. But I know the difference. He's even tried to hide the beer, and gets his brother to bring him more after he's already drunk. He's almost set the house on fire twice, after leaving something on the stove, with it on, and in the oven another time. I woke up to the house filled with smoke. He says he's gonna quit, but he hasn't. I think I'm gonna have to leave him soon.
