I think it’s funny after all that, Rachel still didn’t give back those figurines.But she should have. For the record, i do not think idol worship is funny. Nor do i think she kept them for that reason. But as i read this story, i couldnt believe she was that intent on getting even. Which is what i believe was her motivation. Unfortunately it ended up costing her.
I've heard so many sermons on wrestling with God but never came to the understanding that when Jacob refused to let go of Jesus without a blessing, it wasn't because he desired more possessions but rather because he was pleading and seeking for the assurance of God's promises.
