Check out Dane Calloways channel.. breaks this down document my document. This lady telling half truths.. And I’ve found researching my own genealogy as well how the European immigrants stole my ancestors identity.. Check the Census records. The 1828 definition of American. My folks went from Cherokee to negro to colored to black and note the misnomer “African American”. We didn’t die! We got reclassified!
Well slavery was normal and humane in those days, because it’s been around for centuries. It’s one of the oldest things to ever exist. The British we’re once slaves themselves. Every country has had slaves. Every single country has had slaves at some point.
The life expectancy of a slave in America was higher than an industrial worker (miner etc) in england, and higher than the average African in Africa.
