  5. ❤Pastor Doug, I have a FAITH BUILDING STORY for You. And it is very true. My grandson, his name is Shawn. He almost wasn't, a year ago. I live in Montana, and so does he, but he lives near Billings. He was working for a Coal Mine company near Billings. He was 29 at the time. His job was supervisor of the men he worked with on night shift. Him and his men were busy working. There were three of them, they went down in a mine shaft, walked, a mile or so down. They all had their lamp helmet's on and walked near a wall, as they did, Shawn noticed out the corner of his eye the wall moved, he spun around yelled at his two men to run while he put his hands out to stop this wall, as big as a semi truck, from falling on them, as he did this he also in the flash of an instant, saw a huge almost invisible form pushing with him to keep that wall from falling on them. And the next thing he knew he was pinned under that wall from his waist down. He had also jumped into an indentation in the ground that I believe helped to save his life. This happened last February, 2023. The other two men, one was hit in the head severely, the other had his right foot pinned under that wall, which he lost. The other men outside of this shaft heard and felt the ground shake, ran and one jumped on some kind of earth mover, and they all ran down the shaft. They heard screaming and they were there within I suppose minutes. There were Ambulance's called and while they waited my Grandson said he tried to pull himself out from under that wall, his left foot was crushed, he knew and he felt his pelvis break when he tried to pull himself out.. he couldn't budge it so he tried to dig the loose dirt out with his hands but nothing was working. The other's finally showed up with the big machine and moved that wall off of the two of them. Shawn was coherent the whole time. They got to the first guy with the severed foot. Put him in an Ambulance, then the next ambulance got there and put Shawn in their Ambulance. They got them to the hospital and that was just the beginning of Their fight. They took Shawn into surgery immediately. They fixed his broken right leg. And told his dad that he was as badly broken as a puzzle, and that his back was not broken, Thank God!!!!! They had to wait for the swelling to go down in his body before they could do anything else. So they moved him to a convalescent type hospital. I knew nothing about what had happened until the following day when my daughter called my sister and told her and asked for my phone number. She is Shawn's mother. I am his only grandparent. After Dawn, his mother told me, I got on my knees and prayed.
    I think I was on my knees for weeks. I cried, prayed, cried, prayed!!! I asked God to fix his broken bones, that He had made him perfect in the beginning, and I asked that He Put him back together in His Perfect Will and for him to never forget what He had done for him. I prayed that same prayer with some other things added for the other two that were hurt also. One had a severe concussion, and he is still not well, but doing better. The other had to have his foot amputated. 😢😢😢😢😢😢. But the Doctors told Shawn after his first surgery that he would probably never walk again. They put him in a Halo because of his pelvis, so it would heal. They took ex rays to see how his body was healing, and it was healing very well. They attributed it to their immediate surgery and work. But they couldn't believe how fast his bones healed. His left foot was so shattered that they just left it alone and kept watch on it. The muscle was bruised very badly. His body was black from his waist down, for about 2 weeks. They were amazed to see how fast he was healing. I wasn't!!! I was not able to go see him as it was over 200 miles away. But I did get the address of the hospital he was in and I sent him a card and reading materials. Steps to Christ, Glow tracts on every subject our church had, and a few other things from Church for him to read, as I knew he would have a lot of time to read. Anyhow, they said he was healing so well and they were just amazed at it. He was supposed to be in that hospital for 6-8 months, they told his mom. But he was released on his 30 birthday, or the weekend he turned 30. His birthday is the 21 of March. He was born on my Dad's birthday. He was walking one month after his accident. They never did do surgery on his crushed foot. God healed it!!! My daughter sent me a picture of him walking in the therapy room, and two weeks later she sent me one of him walking without any assistance, by himself. God Answered my Prayers!!
    And He keeps answering my Prayer's 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
