I constantly hear: “Yeah, we provoked Russia, and we kept advancing our weapons and military towards it over the decades, and yes, we knew that militarizations and Western lead coup in Ukraine is a red line for Russia, but Russia
is still bad for starting this military operation. I wonder what these people think would happen if Russia didn’t start this military operation, what would be the next step (after so many already done steps)?
When I hear that, I am imagining the bear minding his own business and people marching towards it, despite all the signals that the bear feels threatened and will need to defend himself. And once bear attack, and God forbid kill somebody, it will be all bear’s fault, and not the people who charged at him, ignoring all signs off red lines.

USA is not in a vacum we are a PART of the world. I see a lot more reasons to be worried about russia getting its way then Ukraine winning.
1. If russia gets their way China will Invade Taiwan and this will only escalate worlds unrest.
2. If russia gets their way we can expect a lot more nuclear weapons being developed in the world since if you as a small country do not posses nuclear weapons you are not protected and can be invaded at anytime by a powerful power that does have them. I think that actually speak to one of your points about fearing nuclear war, well if russia gets their way it actually makes the scenario more plausible.
3. US will lose it status as world power/influence, China is a front runner for that, do we really want china to be the leading power in the world?!
This is disgrace Joe… trying to downplay the importance of this war, trying to bad moth ukraine to find an exuse not to help them. Let me remind you that most all countries have a level of corraption especially those who have been trying to free themself of russian influence.

Refreshing to see such a moronic take on this issue, I dont know if I should laugh or cry because so many people agree with these two
