bullshit. without a military people, businesses, cities, and property associations would be responsible for their own security. They would pay for a small fleet of fighter jets and have mainly reservists trained for them, as well as perhaps some surface to air buildings. city ports would each pay for their own naval forces instead of all being centrally consolidated, it would basically work like the Hanseatic League. And if our infrastructure is provided by the market instead of the state, then the water treatment facilities, power plants, etc, will pay for and inter cooperate for their own security,
thus we would actually have a defensive force which would be far far cheaper and would actually protect our freedoms, while a state military with a standing army is used for conquest and imperialism and eventually domestic tyranny (as we have seen throughout history)
No one is dusputing Russia being the aggressor and in the wrong, we are arguing not to spend money desperately needed for our homeland and not for foreign threats an ocean and half a continent away. We just got done with 20+ years in Afghanistan and yet not even a year later, we're back to war. Enough is enough
