Most rehabs think that forcing the addict to puke their guts out for a week will make them not want to go back to drugs. But studies show that medical detox works way better than old fashioned cold turkey. When you're in the depths of hell, it's hard to justify staying there when you know that you could feel better with one phone call. They also need to stop making rehabs so expensive and start covering both inpatient and outpatient through insurance.
