Isn't amazing how you conveniently ignore the possibility that Joseph could have been polygamous like his ancestors? This is amazing how we can conveniently interpret scripture. none the less thank you for the video, its very informative.
I believe the Catholic church has it more correct. I have studied it both ways and Catholics have more facts, history recored, prayer meetings, council's and interpretation of the original scriptures. Their theologies made much more sense.. Yet thank God He didn't leave our salvation in the hands of our beliefs in Mary and Joesphs procreation. I feel Joesph and Mary were Holy people. Mary FULL of Gods grace. A Holy man was asked by God to take Mary and Jesus and care for them. The holy man knew Mary was pregnant with the Son of God. Well then, if you were that man would you take the vow of celibacy? Or would you take Gods wife and mother as yours? Daaaa. Think about it.
In the time Jesus lived, there was a man whose job was to record genealogy of the church leaders. These ancient documents remain. Possibly at the Vatican. The Greek word used in the original scripture read as close relatives, not blood brothers. Two of the brothers/ close relatives listed to Jesus did not have a father named Joesph. Their dad was listed as Joesphs brother. Making these brothers cousins.
If Joseph had a son older than Jesus then the king ship would not have Descended to him therefore obviously Jesus was the oldest
Studying scripture is a good thing. Study will be good for clearing confusions and grow in the word of God. God and the son of God. We ourself must find the answer. Our conscience is for discern all things. Holy spirit is given for all saved for discern all things in light our God and Lord Jesus Christ and live in him. Believers consciousness is covered with holy spirit after their salvation. 🙄
