This author is awesome because he has great perspective. That is a good mindset to have, because the book will always exist and the movie will subpar from the real thing is still advertising.
Joe Rogan being triggered by a female playing a character originally written as male and the actual creator of the thing seemingly not caring is the perfect example of people who for whatever reason get offended by things that don’t affect them and those who it should are open to changes for the sake of telling a good story
