50:29 I'm bed bound a lot of the time with Lupus and awaiting a hip replacement. I have started crotcheting bright and bold blankets for individuals I feel led to bless. 22:19 I always found it a bit odd that David said to leave Shimei along for cursing him, as it may have been from God, or that God may bless David for ignoring Shimei BUT on his death bed he instructs his son to kill him?!
Solomon dosn't fulfill this but puts him under house arrest/Sanctuary in Jerusalem. It is when Shimei breaks this restriction that Solomon orders Benaiah to kill him. 2 Kings 2:36-46
Shimei is their relative. Perhaps it's a case of having a sneaky influence in your home, but not always one that manifests as a capitol offence. Just rebellious enough to disrupt every one else….?
