Persist in and cling to, dwell in the presence of God by getting in the will of God and the grace of Jesus.
Psalms 119:151
Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.
Jesus is The Word, John 1:1-5
The Word God spoke: Exodus 20:1
The Word God wrote: Deuteronomy 4:13
and The Word God made flesh John 1:14. He is our example of The Trinity. He is The Law that hung on the cross and The Law that is written in the heart.
Psalms 40:7
Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me
Hebrews 10:7
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
With obedience to The Father in Deut. 6:8-9, The Father anoints us with His Word, putting us in His Son, The Holy Spirit.
Build up the body of Christ by 'putting on' The Lord. Cling to, dwell in the law (Ten Commandments) and testimony (Sermon on the Mount). We know His voice.
His words are spirit and they are life. Hear Him. Prepare for your future and the life of your loved ones. As Paul tells us, "put on Jesus."
I love and appreciate you & your ministry so much Pastor Doug. Over many years (long before I even knew what different Christian denominations believed) I would catch you on TV, with your Amazing Facts Programs. You actually brought Good's word alive to me. You have an Amazing calling, and you accomplish it with such reverence & grace. You are truly deserving to be honored in our Lord's Kingdom.
