I think it's better to side more towards kindness, and you use honesty where it's needed. Sometimes white lies are for the greater good.
Radical Honesty (RH) is not a sport, it is a way of life; full time, and eventually the stupid shit stops coming out of you, when you prefer the intimate nature of deep connections with people over the theatrics resulting from giving your thoughts too much significance. Honestly, I must be lacking something, to waste my time writing this post, as though it would lead to some meaningful interaction. If Jamie reads this, tell Rogan to have DR. Brad Blanton on his show…
Kindness and honesty are not opposites. You can be both kind and honest. It means to say the truth but be mindful of how you say it.
Instead of telling someone something they don't want to hear, help them in a different way that's more meaningful to them. Let them know you are here for them to talk to and you won't judge them.
My brother's friend was overweight, but my brother did not call him overweight. Instead, my brother simply invited his friend to go to the gym with him. He loss over 120 lbs of fat in less than a few years
I didn't really like what this guy was saying but then he admitted he felt he had a privileged life and that warrants respect I'm sick of people.gping around pretending they've suffered for attention whilst the real people who suffer keep it to themselves or break because this world is mostly evil scum.
Presentation is key with honesty, which is a trait I respect most in others. Most anything can be said, as long as it's done tactfully.
