I was always really nice to everyone I met for like 40 years and all I heard was stop being so nice. So I stopped, and now everyone is like why are you so mean. You really can't win. If you are nice people take advantage. If you aren't then you are an a$$hole
Being honest and being impertinent are two very different things.
Being kind is important, but the truth will set you free. It's different to being unkind.
It’s hilarious to see this argument. I’ve worked in mental health therapy for years and either one of those two qualities in extreme are not good. It causes harm to people around them and to themselves. It’s just like anything else: everything in moderation.
