2008 crash created occupy wall street in 2012. The easiest way to get rid of the demands of occupy wall street was to absorb the ideology into corporate America. Combine that with FREE college with very angry and liberal professors/intelligencia who hate capitalism (since they are not making as much as their PHD engineering, law, etc. counterparts) who were the 1960/70s hippies teach anger/victimhood to all their students; now you have liberal/woke ideology invading corporations. Finally, we are seeing it finally turn though – people see that going woke makes you broke. Even Blackrock is pushing back on ESG.
