When Christ suffered, died, arose and ascended into Heaven he freed us from fear and death. The blood of Jesus gave us the ability to be forgiven. It freed us from the law and gave us grace. Under the old covenant we were all set up to fail but God sent His Son, His Word. Sin is still sin and God still hates it. Only now through Jesus we can overcome our flesh and resist the devil. Jesus was tempted in all things and overcame them all. He did it so we would already have the victory bought for us with His blood. Claim it anytime. It is already ours. Do not fear the power of sin. Resist it, avoid it, recognize it, flee it, understand how it works but the most important thing to remember is how to clean up and get rid of sin when you find yourself falling into it. Call on God and Jesus and you will have the help you need.
