  1. The Roots of America's Revolutionary War:

While it is undetermined just when the colonists began having issues with their English masters, the causes of dissension between England and her 13 American colonies were many. Thomas Jefferson listed some of them in the Declaration of Independence. We can go back to at least the Sugar Act of 1764 which established taxes on not only sugar but a host of other goods. After that came the Stamp Act (more taxes), the Quartering Act, (requiring colonists to house and feed British troops), and a host of other burdensome taxes. For this, the colonials resisted, and there were demonstrations, one of the most famous being the Boston Tea Party. Yet, none were enough to push the colonists to open rebellion.

Then, on April 18, 1775, British General Thomas Gage sent 700 troops to Concord, Massachusetts. On the dawn of the 19th, 70 average men, farmers, clerks, storekeepers, and the like stood fast and faced the might of the British army at Lexington Green. History does not record who fired the first shot, the one Ralph Waldo Emerson called 'the shot heard round the world,' but we know it lead to the first time in history in which the British army was defeated by common citizens.

And what sin, what transgression did the British commit to incur this armed conflict? They had come for their firearms, powder, and shot. Their own government was trying to disarm them. The first battles of the Revolutionary War were fought over gun control. So let this be a lesson to all that follows – true patriots will never allow themselves to be disarmed, for to do so is tantamount to a loss of security, freedom, and indeed would lead to slavery, as history has witnessed many times.

    Armed man/women = Citizen
    Unarmed man/women = Subject
    Disarmed man/women = Slave

  2. "We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions." Ronald Reagan

So-called "assault weapons," sound suppressors, magazine capacities, semi-autos, muzzle devices, pistol grips, bump-stocks, collapsible or folding stocks, forward grips, colors, etc. have all been targeted by firearm-ignorant fools in an attempt to say these features make a gun more lethal, therefore they should be banned. However, this is total nonsense and understood as such by anyone educated in this field. So don't be fooled, for any anti-gun legislation is merely attempting to incrementally restrict firearms to the point that they are no longer a useful tool for defending one's self, family, community, or country, which is unconstitutional, and therefore unAmerican.

Have you ever heard of the saying, "death by a thousand cuts"? Well, it doesn't matter if you're cut a thousand small times and slowing bleed-out, or struck by a Tomahawk missile and disintegrate, you're still just as dead. Therefore, infringing on the Second Amendment in any way, shape, manner, or form is still violating the US Constitution, which of course is breaking US law and very dangerous indeed. That's why the words, "Shall not be infringed" was placed there, because America's Founding Fathers knew there'd be people who would seek to destroy this constitutional right incrementally, thinking they were being crafty.

You see, an outright "gun ban" is not needed to violate US law and severely damage America's security and guaranteed liberties. Our 2nd Amendment protects all other rights. So, what part of "infringed" don't they understand?
INFRINGED: restrict, limit, curb, check, encroach on; undermine, erode, diminish, weaken, impair, damage, compromise, etc.

“There are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.” James Madison

"The greatest danger to American freedom is a government that ignores the Constitution." Thomas Jefferson

So we see then that at the heart of protecting our 2nd Amendment that it's not even about gun ownership, but freedom, which these tools have historically best protected that God-given freedom and Constitutionally recognized right to "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." For over the past hundreds of years those citizens who allowed this natural right of self-protection to be stripped away equally enslaved themselves by granting power to tyrannical governments.

  3. Decoding Anti-Gun Rhetoric:
"Commonsense Gun laws" = Incrementally destroying your 2nd Amendment rights.
"Gun Control" = Violating your God-given and constitutionally protected right to self-defense.
"Assault Weapons Ban" = Outlawing firearms that cosmetically look like military-grade machine guns but are not.
"Weapons Of War" = Common sporting arms Americans have owned for many decades and militaries have never issued.

  4. "Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6."
That being said, know your state's self-defense laws. Educate yourself on the legal and moral responsibility to stop a lethal threat. Learn where not to be to prevent being forced to defend yourself or others. Study how to deescalate various high-stress situations for the benefit of all involved.
