Breathing techniques were present in many ancient cultures, so it is pretty far-fetched and/or naive to assume they originated in certain areas based on findings. Some cultures made breathwork seem so complicated and over-marketed it in modern times. It is great that people are now starting to realise how simplistic these techiques are❤

Bharat was an advanced civilization with diverse pursuits. While some engaged in fieldwork, trades and defence, others like Yogis or Brahmins focused on meditation, yoga, astronomy, astrology, science, metallurgy, ayurveda, etc. These were called Varna system (later misunderstood as caste system). Innovations such as plastic surgery, rooted from here. Do read Indic math you'll learn that the binary (0,1) concept developed here, also Pythagorean theorems, the value of pi, and astronomical measurements. And all these were stolen from us, copied and disseminated globally without even giving our ancestors due credits. 😢
