AMEN 🙏
Lets talk about this mixing of clay and iron for a moment. I'm not about to change the mind of this Pastor because no matter what proof a person provides him, he is determined to beat the same ole drum of Catholicism but my hope is that one of you will take this to heart and do your own studying!
So what of this "Iron and Clay"…Daniel 2:41; "And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay."
What you need to understand is that Islam attempts to mingle Nations through Religion and Intermarriage. What is also important to understand is that Arabs and ancient Jews mastered the bible much better than any Westerner could ever think of doing.
As an example, Rabbi Saadiah Gaon, a Jewish Philosopher during the Abbasid period believed the fourth beast in Daniels vision is the mingling of Roman and the Arab and Ibn Ezra spoke of Arabs and Turks forming this threat as well. As confirmation of this, Strongs dictionary also affirms the word for 'mingling' is "Mu-Arab," or to Arabize non Arabs. Any person with half a brain would understand this to spell out Islam; the Arabizing process of this religion…"And just as you saw the Iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be mixed (Arabized).
Which brings me to my next point…There is no denying the succession of these kingdoms…With the exception of the fourth!
Daniel 2:41; "And whereas thou sawest the feet, and the toes, part of potter's clay, and part of iron: the kingdom shall be DIVIDED, but yet it shall take its ORIGIN FROM THE IRON, according as thou sawest the iron mixed with the miry clay".
Daniel 2:40; "And the fourth Kingdom shall be as strong as Iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the other."
While the Roman Empire was vast at its zenith, it certainly did not 'crush' all the area of the three previous empires, especially the Grecian and Persian Empires. So it obviously cannot be the legs of Iron because it DOES NOT crush ALL of the previous Kingdoms. But what empire did conquer ALL of the area of the previous three? Islam!
The borders of all Islamic Caliphates/Empires when put together cover ALL the regions occupied by the previous Three Kingdoms. Islam continued from 622 to 1924 when it was finally defeated. Altogether, there were Four main Caliphates that spanned the entire time period. In other words, it is Islam that is the Fourth Kingdom, made of the Iron Legs that crushes all the others. And if that is the case, then the feet made of Iron and Clay would be a revived Islamic Caliphate, NOT a revived Roman Empire like so many in the Adventist circles and other Protestant Faiths would like you to believe. And if you are watching world events, especially in the Middle East, then you know we are witnessing this new Caliphate being "Resurrected" right before our very eyes!
Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq founded the first crown/kingdom and Hasan ibn Ali', founded the second which branched into the Shiites. This is what sprouted the Two Horns and is why it is a "divided kingdom".
This can only be speaking of Asia Minor (Turkey) which was the EASTERN Roman Empire: Iron. (The Byzantine Empire, also referred to as the Eastern Roman Empire was the continuation of the Roman Empire when its capital was Constantinople). What happened before the defeat of Constantinople? Hungarian and German engineers created the biggest cannon of that time…This was for the Ottoman Empires ambition to expand. The Ottomans used the cannon to break the walls of Constantinople, ending the Easter Half of the Christian Roman Empire.
So allow me to break it down for you. At the end times there will be the 8th Kingdom. Revelation 17:11; "And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition." Sound confusing…it really isn't!
This would encompass the threat to ALL of God's people from Moses:
– (1) Egypt (1st horn),
– (2) Assyrian (2nd horn), since Assyria defeated Egypt,
– (3) Babylon (3rd horn) since Babylon defeated Assyria,
– (4) Persia (4th horn) since Persia defeated Babylon,
– (5) Greece (8th horn) since Greece defeated Persia and had 4 divisions making it, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th horn,
– (6) Rome (9th horn) since Rome defeated Greece and then
– (7) the Ottoman Empire (10th horn) since the Ottomans defeated the Romans at Constantinople and ENDED the Roman Empire.
What you wont be told is that the Ottoman Caliphate held the title of Kaisar Al-Rum (Caesar of the Romans) and "belonged to the seven" exactly as John said it would be.
Turkey is the Fourth Kingdom of Daniel 2, rising again as the feet of Iron and Clay, NOT ROME and NOT the United States!
Remember the beast in Revelation 13 that has seven heads and ten horns with one of the heads having a deadly wound that was healed? Revelation 17 specifically points out what that means: Revelation 17:9-11; "The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated; they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while. As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction."
The key to all of this is that the SEVENTH KINGDOM is also the EIGHTH. The five that had fallen are Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia and Greece. The sixth kingdom, or the 'one that is', is the Roman Empire, as it was at the time of John when he wrote these visions down. So what kingdom came after the Roman Empire? The Islamic Empire! It spanned over 1300 years and later became the Ottoman Empire. It is the SEVENTH KINGDOM but that kingdom fell in 1923 when it received it's 'Deadly wound' and now we are watching its rebirth as the EIGHTH KINGDOM.
