Although not pharaoh herself, Nefertiti’s name has persisted because she held a uniquely influential role as wife and queen, which we see in surviving depictions of her. Historians have gleaned that Nefertiti was a major proponent of Akhenaten’s religious and cultural movement. She represented the female aspect of Aten while her husband represented the maleโand both acted as a bridge between Aten and the Egyptian people. The Nefertiti bust is identified as her likeness because of the characteristic crown, which she wears in all other inscribed depictions of her. The limestone sculpture was believed to have been completed by the artist Thutmose in 1345 BCE. Upon its discovery in 1912, the portrait has immortalized Nefertiti as the symbol of ideal feminine beauty.

As always love your work and voice! I also love the nearly accurate depiction of their African features and skin color. It's exhausting for the truth to be both shown and told as fact and not lies. It seems the African-black history is doomed to be white washed forever throughout time. My question is why? Egypt is in AFRICA or Kemet and is not European lands, not Arab, or any other. This depiction is more than likely pretty close. Anyway, we shall wait and see about that tomb of Nefertiti being real. ๐๐๐
I believe that's probably a close depiction of them.race is such a prevalent thing that they tried to separate kemet from Africa because of race dark people couldn't of built all this amazing stuff or know astrology writing mathematics etc..its sad that it has to even be a discussion about skin tone they should be reverered for their historical greatness if their black or not.Love the channel by the way!
