I quit going to church cause I found out that the sabbath is Saturday not Sunday and Noone out here has church on Saturday. Even the 7th day Adventist out here worships on Sunday now. I live in Ogden Utah
I’ve been to church for 38 years and I discover they preached lies. Best to read bible for yourself and let God/Jesus/Holy Spirit to teach you. Church is good for fellowship.
One of the first things " the church" did was forsake the Sabbath. I'm not sure when, but. Jesus told his disciples not to call anyone father or teacher because they were all brethren. Then the church, under Paul's leadership came in and instituted layers of hierarchy with pastors, teachers, and other titles under the guide of gifts. I don't understand. If the new covenant says that No longer will neighbor need to tell each other to know the Lord because God will place His laws in their minds and write his laws on the hearts from the least to the greatest…if Enoch pleased God by walking with him ( the church wasn't a thing) , then why do we NEED the church according to what God and Jesus said? Does Paul and the church supersede God's word? It was the priests and the leaders who complicated things anyway. Have we become like the Israelites who begged for a king? Why is walking with God, reading, obeying his word, and acting in love toward people we meet in passing and/ or work with enough? God is God in the stack of bricks and beyond. The church building and even the people are a resource, not the source. We NEED a relationship with God and Jesus. Neither needs an intermediary…oh wait…the Holy Spirit. He gave us that already.

You do not miss any blessings from God by not going to any church congregation whatsoever…the word of our Lord Jesus Christ is more powerful than yours. Doug Batchelor I know the main reasons you always admonishing and saying to go to church so church attendance will supersedes the collection, contributions and donations when passing down all those offering plates…of course more revenue on your church.
