This is the problem right here first thing out of their mouth. Conquering and killing assuming aliens are like us. Why would they interact with us directly? We literally kill and conquer our own species. That would be dangerous for aliens to interact with us. Knowing how we treat each other. They don't need to travel lightyears to conquer our planet. It's billions of planets in the universe. We aren't that special but again we think we are.
