Adam, it’s curious you spoke about being ready to give up our comforts. I felt lead for the last few years that my family needs to learn to adjust to the heat and not rely on AC so much in the summer and be able to bear the cold in the winter. I have also felt led to learn to deny myself the foods that I take pleasure in and learn to be more disciplined and not allow it control over my life. I am convicted that all of this is in preparation for whatever is coming. To not allow anything to have control over my physical body.
Farming opens so much insight Spiritually. From the seeds sprouting and bringing forth life and fruit, to the pruning and tending, amending the soil, upkeep, etc.
