Adventists always spoil things by quoting from ellen white's books. If only they would stick to the Bible. I fellowshipped with Adventists for over seven years and learned a lot from them, but it never sat well with me when they repeatedly quoted from EGW's books – you see, I had been praying fervently to God to ask Him to sound loud alarm bells in my head when any error was being preached…..and, thankfully, He was faithful and true to do just this. When I used to complain about people quoting from her writings, one woman even claimed that ellen white's books were scripture! Despite calling themselves 'Sola Scriptura', this is definitely not true. Most Adventists (not all, I hope) even put her writings above Scripture, which is definitely wrong. Adventists need our prayers because, despite not keeping the first commandment, I believe their hearts are in the right place.
