"Corporate greed" on the part of the college's…yes, if you cancel the loans, the graduated student gets his life back…but the greedy colleges get hurt…so you know the loan forgiveness will never happen.
OK one big problem I have with this is he said the government got involved and then the schools saw how much extra money students were getting and jacked up prices. But his reasoning behind the government getting involved was because they just on a whim told kids hey you shouldn’t have to work your summers. That just sounds very unrealistic, so what sounds more probable the schools lobbyist that highly influence our political atmosphere came up with the whole idea on their own? Or the students with no lobbying power said hey big G we don’t want to work our summers anymore we just wanna party do you think there’s anyway you can help us pay for school? And the government was just like of course! And then the school saw all this extra money and we’re caught by surprise with with it? What the fuck dude?
I made 80k last year without a college degree! College, unless you go into STEM, is pretty fucking useless!
If Schiff ran for president, me and everyone of my gold bars would vote for him!
People really need to research various majors before choosing one.
Find out what job opportunities and salaries are connected to different majors. Certain majors will lead to professions that may make it easier or harder to pay off loans.
