I love teachings like this that inspire me to search deeper for truth in regards to the law and what I'm not doing correctly. I absolutely love teachings that shine a light on error that I've either accepted or truths that I've ignored. Thank you for these extremely important teachings. Two thumbs down identify people that look for loop holes in the law because they love the world more than they love Yahweh.
The number of people (two) from the original number that left Egypt and were allowed to enter the promised land is a foreshadow of how difficult the path is to the kingdom of Heaven. It is a demonstration of the ratio of the saved compared to the unsaved. And it is in line with what we see described in 2 Esdras. For it tells us the saved compared to the unsaved is likened to a drop is unto a wave. That's how difficult the narrow path is. The Church (mainstream Christianity) is akin to the Hebrews that wandered in the wilderness. A couple billion today claim to be Christian just as a couple million claimed to be Hebrew in the wilderness. But only a very small portion of those Christians claiming to love and fear God will make it into the spiritual promised land (heaven). Only those that love and keep Yahweh's commandments will be found to be worthy on judgement day. Faith/belief alone will not save anyone.
And by the way, I like that you opened with the Lord's prayer. I usually do the same thing with my zoom fellowship meeting on Sundays. I also try to say it 3 times a day as it is instructed in the Didache.
