This guy is one dimensional and comes off as a pushy salesperson selling the old snake oil.
Schiff's argument on privatizing education was a little weak
5:15 also Joe, grade school is mostly paid by local taxes not the federal government. Peter is talking mostly about college education which has spiraled out of control mainly because of student loans.
So his solution to fix bad neighborhoods was basically legalize drugs, privatize education and allow grants for a few poor kids to go to a better school…
Or perhaps we just incentivize great teachers to teach in these poorer schools and give less money to schools in rich neighborhoods where they are already getting huge parent and alumni donations. Create daycare and after school activities for kids who have parents that work two jobs. And we have a minimum wage that reflects inflation and the real cost of living.
you fix troubled communities by telling people NOT to have a shitload of kids they cant afford or look after with multiple baby daddies. then you put focus on family and education..problem solved
