  1. Please google Dr. Fred Penzel and work through his articles. This, combined with counseling, helped me greatly. I wrestled over 20 years with this terrible disorder. It is now 98% better with the occasional spikes from time to time. You can beat this. You are not alone. You are not your thoughts. You have a severe intolerance to uncertainty and a great step 1 is understanding that nothing in life is certain. Face your fears. Practice ERP on your own and/or with a counselor. One day at a time. You can get there!! You can get well!!
