maybe this episode was scripted/staged but not every single episode. my best friend and his family was on Dr. Phil and I guarantee you that episode wasn't scripted hahahahaha it was a mess. And it was real. Also my friends mom got help because of him and is back on her feet because of this show. I can see how this is totally scripted and blasphemous but I wouldn't go as far as saying the whole show is staged and a sham
